CONCERT STAGE DECOR ART

This is the collection of artwork created by Hilary Greenwald working with and under the Music Faculty at Appalachian Bible College as concert decor artist while enrolled as a student 2019-2023. Her love for God, art, and music came together in this job. Her roles included concept artist, collaborating with the music faculty, sound, and light crews which involved problem solving, teamwork, and brainstorming both ideas and supplies necessary for the work. She also incorporated elements of art history into her work influencing the media used ranging from Gothic stained glass style, direct inspiration from Edward Hick's folk art series, post-impressionism, and Renaissance art to name a few. Besides concept artist she also was the stage decor artist creating the large installation murals and artworks for each concert.

She worked as the stage artist for 8 different concerts:

2019 Christmas Concert "Behold Your King"

2020 Song Fest Thanksgiving Concert "In Times Like These"

2021 Spring Music Festival "Where You Belong"

2021 Christmas Concert "Light Shines Out Of Darkness"
