MIXED-MEDIA MOSAICS

These works incorporate much of my glass painting-technique, but the focal point of these pieces are the mosaic elements. With these paintings I use a variety of objects and materials such as seashells, broken jewelry, beads, feathers, marbles, and mirrors just to name a few. Taking random objects and using them to see a bigger picture is an exciting process; it is like building a puzzle but being the one to choose where the boundaries are.
