GLASS PAINTINGS

These works came about from several years of experimenting with fabric paint on glass. It was after accidentally getting fabric paint on a screen and peeling it off that I began using it as an art medium. Bright colors and intricate patterns are what draw me to this technique. I predominantly do reverse painting where I begin with an outline on the front, then do details on the back of the glass, and build layers. I finish with the background colors on the back and then final details on the front. I often add acrylic gems to add extra texture.
